Work started on 25 June on a wide-ranging programme of road improvements across Milton Keynes.
From 9.30 am till 4.30pm daily, road maintenance crews will be applying bitumen and a layer of chippings to the existing road surface.
Liberal Democrat councillor Chris Williams, cabinet member responsible for transport, said: "This is part of on-going efforts to maintain the standard of Milton Keynes roads. We are investing about £200,000 in this programme of works to provide residents, as well as visitors to the area, with a much better driving experience. There will be an advisory speed limit of 20 mph that will be displayed on each site and we trust that motorists will understand and respect that.".
