Lib Dems win Local Election Victory in MK

Liberal Democrats were celebrating after winning 9 seats of the 18 contested in the recent local elections, including taking three seats from the Conservatives. Labour held their four seats and the Conservatives held just five seats. Newly elected or re-elected LibDem councillors include:

Robin Bradburn, Bradwell

Isobel McCall, Campbell Park

Stuart Burke, Emerson Valley

Jenni Ferrans, Furzton

Christine Zealley, Linford North

Ric Brackenbury, Linford South

Derek Eastman, Newport Pagnell North

Andy Maric, Newport Pagnell South

Subhan Shafiq, Walton Park
