Save Springfield Post Office

The Campbell Park Liberal Democrat Focus Team is campaigning against the closure of the Springfield Post Office. Tesco has announced that they want to close it when they take over the shop next summer. This will hit residents in Springfield and Woolstone who use this Post Office.

The Post Office has only been in Springfield for seven years since the one in Woolstone closed despite a campaign led by the Liberal Democrat Councillors.

Cllr. Cec Tallack said, "It is outrageous that neither estate should have a Post Office. This will hit the elderly and young mothers".
